– Based on the Decision to establish the Overseas Masters Management Council of Martial Arts
Masters (HĐVSTTHN) signed by the late Grandmaster Le Sang on March 31, 2010,

– Based on the needs for the development of the martial arts school as well as the need for advancement of key personnel within the school overseas,

– With the aim of strengthening mutual support among Vovinam movements overseas (in
territories outside Vietnam),

The Council is pleased to announce a special advanced belt grading in Tacoma, Washington, USA,
taking place from August 21 to 22, 2026. Key events include:

• • Red and Yellow belts exam
• • Commemoration ceremony honoring Vovinam’s founder and reverved masters

Specific details about the 2026 Belt Exam:

• Item 1: The exam will be primary for master of red belt level, with instructors of yellow belt
  level with unique circumstances, will be held on August 22, 2026, in Tacoma,
  Washington, USA.
• Item 2: All eligible candidates must fill out the application form and complete the registration
  process for the exam.
• Item 3: The application form, promotion exam regulations and essay writing guide are posted
  on the website www.vovinamoverseas.com/be-tacomawa2026.
• Item 4: The application form must be sent to the Head of the Examination Board – Master
  Diep Khoi, Email: lienlacvovinam@gmail.com. All applications will be reviewed and the
  results will be notified within 30 days of receipt, which will allow the candidates
  sufficient time to prepare and arrange transportation.
